We were looking at purchasing a home. Although our real estate agent offered to give us the names of some home inspectors, we decided that we should do our own research on the internet.

The first impression he created when he arrived at the house confirmed our thoughts. He was punctual and took no notice of the vendor‘s comments. It was very clear to me that he was focused on our best interests and nobody else’s.

David used his experience and knowledge to see past the staging of the home and discover several things that would have resulted in us having to spend a lot of money on not so obvious repairs – probably some time after we had taken possession. At that point it would have been too late.

Based on his findings, we were able to make an educated decision not to buy the house.

We found another house we liked and immediately called Big Block Inspections. After thoroughly examining the house, David gave us a detailed report on the condition of the house. There was nothing major so we decided to purchase.

And it was our confidence in David’s thoroughness and knowledge that allowed us to make an easy decision.
